Your time is at a premium. That's why we so appreciate if you are able to dedicate some of it to supporting our children and school. 

There Are Many Ways to be Involved

There are lots of opportunities throughout the year to help with the PTO. We welcome your ideas and participation at PTO meetings and your support in planning and executing our many activities. Look for a survey from the PTO that will identify some opportunities for involvement and seek your interests and availability. You can also reach out directly to the PTO - we'd love to hear from you! Register for Clearance to Volunteer at Myers

Interested in volunteering in the school? Get a head start! We encourage anyone who would like to volunteer at some point in their child(ren)’s school future to register for clearances. This includes reoccurring volunteer positions like assisting in the classroom as well as one-time events such as field trips. It can be completed online in just a few minutes. Please proactively complete your paperwork so that you are ready when a volunteer opportunity arises. Those interested in volunteering can download the volunteer packet on the school district page. COMPLETED CLEARANCES ARE GOOD FOR FIVE YEARS (all five years of Myers Elementary School)! All completed forms should be given to Barbara Gadson, the school secretary. Please note this clearance is not needed to volunteer with PTO activities.
